We are looking for a Senior Scheduler for the Södertörn Cross-Link Program at the Swedish Transport Administration.

This is a consultancy assignment. The stationing location is Stockholm.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

As a scheduler within the Södertörn Cross-Link program, you will support the organization in steering towards agreed goals and contribute to ensuring that projects deliver according to time, cost, and content. The role involves responsibility for the development, monitoring, and quality assurance of schedules, as well as supporting, training, and coordinating with employees and project managers.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the quality of work related to scheduling

Clarify, communicate, and maintain the correct requirements for the program's schedules

Present decision-making materials and current status to decision-makers

Train employees within the program

Update instructions and develop routines for scheduling work

Drive active scheduling together with project managers in selected projects

Continuous monitoring and updating of selected project schedules within the program

Advising and supporting the development of measures to limit the impact on controlling times

Review schedules prepared by suppliers against program-wide quality requirements for schedules

Requirements (Note, mandatory)

Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

University degree of at least 180 credits in engineering or economics, or other education that we assess as equivalent based on experience

At least five years of experience in the last seven (7) years in the role of scheduler in large complex projects with a contract value over 500 million SEK (as a consultant or employee) at a construction contractor or client of construction services

Good knowledge of scheduling software such as Powerproject, Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent

Good knowledge of the Office suite

Desirable

You have at least five years of experience in scheduling either as a construction contractor and/or client of construction contracts where the contract value exceeds 1,000,000,000 SEK.

You have experience coordinating schedules across multiple interfaces and dependencies between contracts and preparatory work within projects or programs of similar size and complexity as the Södertörn Cross-Link. You have a good understanding of the connections between dependencies, interfaces, and handovers, as well as the ability to identify deviations and risks.

You have the best possible understanding of the program's challenges and complexity, are self-driven, and solution-oriented.
